Carpet Spot Cleaning Guide
All soil (spots or stains) fall into two categories:
1) Water Soluble
2) Solvent Soluble.
Water Soluble: Dilute dish detergent
Solvent Soluble: Dry Cleaning Solution (Odorless Mineral Spirits)
Think of it like cleaning a paint brush.
Oil base paint cleans with OMS and Latex paint cleans with detergent and water. When you mix the two, it just doesn’t work. If a spot or stain does not come out with either of these two solutions, then we consider it permanent. Although there are techniques for removing permanent stains, we recommend that you call a professional.

*1. Do not apply solvents directly on carpet. Apply to rag and blot. Solvents may dissolve the carpet backing if poured directly on.
*2. 3% Hydrogen Peroxide will kill germs on contact and help remove any remaining discoloration from organic spots or stains such as; blood, coffee, tea, urine…etc
